Arizona has lots of picturesque parks and things to do outdoors, such as Lake Mead or the Hoover Dam, which was designed when the dam was constructed. The Grand Canyon brings in thousands of tourists annually, and Scottsdale, Phoenix, Flagstaff also bring in their own sun-seeking snow birds. Well-known celebrities like Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, and Linda Carter were raised and born in Arizona, along with Presidential Candidate Barry Goldwater and employment rights leader Cesar Chavez.

Arizona's population is 6,500,180, and Phoenix, the state's capital, is home to most of those people. Of this population, around twenty-five percent are under the age of 18 and are getting prepared for university enrollment.

Tucson is the second largest city in Arizona, behind Phoenix and also has the second largest college student population with the University of Arizona with 36,000 students.
